Valley City Jiu-Jitsu and Self Defense Academy

Born in Valley City, I grew up on a farm with heavy influence from ninja and martial arts movies, shows, and video games. 

I started my martial arts training in 2009, at Fargo Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where I studied jiu-jitsu, judo, and wrestling as well as Muay Thai.

I competed at several submission grappling tournaments but my real passion was in teaching. 

I began teaching in 2012 for several years and again at a new location for several more years.
